Reparable, nearly limitless color options, requires no sealing, non-porous, stronger and more durable than natural stones.

Quartz is a naturally occurring mineral that is one of the most abundant on Earth. For countertops, manufacturers use crushed and finely ground natural quartz crystals, typically accounting for about 90-95% of the countertop’s composition. This gives quartz countertops their hardness and durability.
The crushed quartz is combined with polymer resins, usually in a ratio of 5-10%. These resins act as a binding agent, holding the quartz particles together and creating a solid surface. The resins also enhance the countertop’s flexibility, making it less prone to cracking or chipping compared to natural stone surfaces.
To achieve a wide range of colors and patterns, pigments are added to the mixture. These pigments can create a variety of designs that mimic the look of natural stone or offer unique, vibrant colors.
Some manufacturers may add other materials such as recycled glass, metallic flecks, or even small stone particles to enhance the appearance and functionality of the countertop.
